Default German Restaurant gets around the smoking ban (with pics)

haha, this is pretty cool. As an ex-smoker, I think this would have been a good alternative to standing fully outside in the -30. You'd look sorta goofy, but its still funny.

So, does this mean you have to line up to smoke? Looks like there's only one set of holes.

sure I guess it works, but I think a lot of smokers enjoy the social aspect that smoking brings. They like to congregate together while they have their smoke be it inside or out.
I'm not a smoker, but I can't see many people smoking out of this hole.

it makes you wonder what kind of bar this is at...do those holes constrict at all? what is happening on the inside of the bar?

It'd be so easy to grab his ass while in the bar...

Is it just me who realizes that it would be very easy to break in the place with holes in the wall right beside the door handle?

This was clearly very well thought out.

I agree. People are better off stepping outside for a smoke than looking like some side show from a circus

Im guessing this is less about the pragmatic details and more about giving a big F-U to the smoking ban.

This looks to me like smokers putting themselves in the stocks.
