Hawks, who have 4 goalies in their system, and Canadiens, who have 12 blueliners in their own, made a common-sense deal by trading franchise worst defenseman for franchise-worst goaltender.
"Wow, he even played a game in NHL", was all Hawks GM said about a deal.
Hawks would never even announce it if not a thread about watchdog and how GMs should/can avoid it.
