Lupe Fiasco's The Cool

Anyone else picked up this his new CD yet or listen to a few songs of it?

It's a pretty hot track. Just picked it up today and had one go through it so far. I'm liking this more then Food & Liquor already. Lupe Fiasco is a real breath of fresh air to the Hip-Hop/Rap industry. His lyrics are real and talk about real life pressing issues, rather then saying the same ish over and over again with a bumping beat to make people dance in the clubs. I hope Lupe gets an award with Daydreamin at the Grammys Awards, and some songs out of his latest album later on. He deserves it. He's up there with Jay Z, Kanye West, and other current greats.

I have it in my possession but haven't listened to it yet. I've heard it's a pretty sick album, but the beats aren't on par with Food and Liquor. None the less, I've heard it's pretty phenomenal.

Not much into new hip hop, wasn't a big fan of Lupe's last cd, i'm sure i'll listen to this one sometime, maybe if/after my Stetsasonic album fades. That's right

how can you say his taste in music sucks. all he said was lupe's new cd was good. I don't get where your coming from?

Anyways the cd is really good, way better than his last. The guy feels alot "realer" than most hip-hop/rap artists today.

Superstar, Dumb it Down (which really states Lupe's style and is perfect for this album), and The Coolest are singles that are out and you can probably find on Limewire.
