Wow. Basically two guys in jail in Atlanta (one facing 17 years minimum for aggravated manslaughter and the other on robbery and weapons chargers escaped the prison). They used a metal wire to remove a sinder block in the wall and then hung up pictures of women in bikini's over the holes to cover the wall. They then made dummies out of their pillows/sheets and placed them in their beds. They then left a note for the officers thanking them for the tools they left and wished them a happy holidays in the note.
To delay discovery of the escape, Espinosa and Blunt used dummies made of sheets and pillows in their beds. They also hung photographs of bikini-clad women to hide the holes in the walls, a move reminiscent of a scene in the Hollywood hit "The Shawshank Redemption."
Not to nitpick, but they were in New Jersey, not Atlanta.
But yeah, what a seemingly easy way to break out... you'd think they'd have thought of the fact that if you put a fence next to a roof that is higher than said fence... it might be a problem.
dunno it seems to me the hard part would be getting out of the cell not over a fence. Is it seriously that easy to scrape through a wall in all our prisons? This was a high security prison too was it not?
