Default Wow, the Calgary Herald delivers real early!

My paper has been delivered to me real early lately. It was delivered to me at 1:30 am (about an hour ago) and I finished reading it. It's weird because when I lived in Edmonton, the Journal would be delivered around 5:45-6:15. Anyways, just weird how quickly it's getting delivered to me here in Tuscany!

Likely, your delivery person is working 3 or 4 jobs in order to afford a house in this city, so they have to get an early start on things. At 6:00 AM, they will be driving a school bus; at 9, performing bowel surgery; at 3:00PM, school bus again; and, lastly, at 8PM, it's bartending. The papers are delivered on the way home from the bar.

It varies. Last year paper wouldn't show up until well after I left for work. After 6:30am.

Now i'm up at 5am and it's there most of the time. There was a time when I would leave for work and the paper guy was just delivering on my street. So it depends on what part of the city you live in I suppose.

They used to finish printing around that time, making delivery before 5am practically impossible. Interesting.

Usually when I go on a video game bender they freak me out. My paper gets delivered via throw at about 3 am. Every single time for about a second I think somebody is trying to kick my door in.

Somebody should tell the useless Lethbridge Herald this. For over a month we not once received our paper before noon. Their excuse? The guy has 6 routes. So? We're paying to have the paper delivered and they promise to have to us by 7:00am. After weeks of complaining we decided to cancel, but before we could cancel we were told that a new carrier started on that very day (which was the only day that it was ontime). So we decided to give it a try for a while longer... 2 or 3 days per week it has been late, but at least we get it by 9:00am. Probably going to cancel anyway. It is a pretty useless paper even when it is ontime.

I think there are two editions. The early one and the later one. I've been to Mac's after the bar where the paper has already arrived, but they wouldn't even have the scores of the late games (Kings, Ducks, Sharks, etc). Then when I go home and wake up, my paper that was delivered to my house had the scores and the game summary

Why can't the Herald fire Doh boy? I miss my Herald. It's been close to 4 years now.

My favorite was Globe and Mail.

No muffler, guy speeds in a very small road.

He THROWS the tightly packed paper from the road, WHIPPING it at the door. 3-4am every night, this loud BANG on my door usually wakes me up.

I stopped the subscription a few weeks later when even after complaining to the company he continued doing that, I even tried running out after him one night but he was just too fast.

Hope he got a new muffler at least by now
