Hitmen vs Seattle tonight!

After a couple days off the Hitmen are back in action tonight against the Thunderbirds.

The Calgary Hitmen (12-7-4-1) continue their seven-game western road swing tonight as they pay a visit to the Seattle Thunderbirds (16-5-0-0).

The Hitmen, who are deadlocked with Lethbridge for second in the Central division, eked out a last-second 4-3 win in Spokane on Saturday and are 4-3-3 in their last 10 outings. Defenceman Brett Carson, who scored the late winner in Spokane on Saturday, has four goals and seven points in his last seven games.

The Thunderbirds, who top the U.S. division, are coming off a 6-0 shutout win over Portland on Saturday and have won eight of their last 10 outings. Aaron Gagnon leads the T-birds with 15 goals and 24 points.

It’s the first and only meeting of the season between the teams. The Thunderbirds beat the Hitmen 5-3 in Calgary in last year’s only meeting.
