Anyone watching this show on CBC (8pm tonight)? One of my favorites...
IMO this season is even better than last years...

I like this show a lot as well. Don't watch it all the time though. They have some great ideas on that show and some horrible ones.
I was pretty surprised when I saw the banana guard guys on there. My girlfriend has one of those lying on the counter (I thought it was a waste of money, but rarely does that discourage her). So I guess they got a business going despite not taking the dragons' offer.

Hehe, I half-suspected a reply like this may follow. It's larger than you may think so if someone were used for the purpose you insinuate, that would be very... impressive?

Great show.
My PVR has messed up the past two weeks though - anyone know where I could find a torrent of the latest season's episodes?

My dad and I watch this show when there is absolutely nothing else on- it's not that bad, but it's also not that great IMO.

Wow - what a great show! I can't remember the last time I watched the CBC for a show other than Sports, Comedy, or news! Is this season 2? Are they "Dragons" spending their own money or someone's else equity?
Great presentation by the Atomic Tea crowd to represent Calgary. I'll definitely try to swing by their place to try some, although I have to say, that's one less than prime location.

Although, I will call BS on this statement about Kevin:
As a self-proclaimed “Eco-preneur” Kevin looks hardest for investments that make money – and are environmentally friendly. He is a director and shareholder of EnGlobe, Canada’s leading integrated environmental services company.
There's a couple companies here in town that are arguably deserved of that "leading" title.

Yeah, it's a good show and getting better. It was kind of mind blowing when they started to bid against each other and then got together and lowered their offer. I never saw that before and it wasn't exactly cricket but that's business. CBC is on to something here.

Yeah, this show blows away the Americanized version, where the winner takes home a million bucks. I love it that the Dragons put up their own money if they like the idea.

I wonder if they could find a market for the Canadian version on a network down in the states? Of course the multi-colored money could throw some American viewers off, but still compelling TV is compelling TV...Could the CBC successfully export this product?
Any ideas on what would make the show better?

The only thing I'd like to see is an update on some of the businesses they go for. Maybe at the beginning of a season, they could show what happened with some of the ideas from the previous season and whether they became successful (or are on their way) or failed miserably and how much money they made.
I agree the tea presentation from last night was pretty successful. Anyone on here actually tried it?

One mans gold is another mans fugly coal I guess. I am all for the MILFs, but they need to at least be somewhat attractive.
Just my opinion of course.

Patty: When you do good, I use the green pen. When you do bad, I use the red pen. Any questions?
Otto: Yeah, one. Have you always been a chick? I mean I don't want to offend you, but you were born a man, weren't you? You can tell me; I'm open-minded.
