Thrashers lose in overtime in a close game to the Islanders. 6 game winning streak is snapped by NYI but a positive note is that Atlanta hasn't lost in regulation for 11 games. 8-0-1-2.

Roloson is now fatigued and will get tomorrow off vs Dallas since Atlanta has 2 days off after that.

Nice win by the Isles this afternoon to snap a 5-game losing streak.

Ward made his return to the nets with a solid performance and was named the game's first star. Isles' grinders led the way today with Zigomanis and Kopecky getting the goals, while Demitra found his way back on to the scoreboard when it mattered in OT to help the Isles drop the Thrashers in the extra frame.

Isles visit Goffie's Pens tomorrow where Jagr makes his return to the line up.

PK Killed us today. Allowing 3 powerplay goals will sink most teams let alone one that doesnt have veteran talent.

Good showing today by the third line. Keeping Bonk on the fourth line and moving Brad Richardson up to the third really paid off. The whole line was a +3. Captain Dan McGillis was an amazing +4 on that line while Kukkonen played second line due to Souray being injured AGAIN.
