Your a Winner ads.
For the past week I have been getting nothing other than seizure inducing winner ads. I hoped that it would go away but I've had to block all ads on CP. This isn't something I want to do snd you guys should be made aware.
Not sure if all users are getting the same or if there is anything you can do but you guys deserve the revenue so let me know.

Yeah, same here. As I type, I'm the 999,999th visitor according to a window bouncing around and another one saying the same thing but with the text strobing between yellow and blue on a red background.
I too have CP white-listed, but these are just getting crazy.

Does CP get money if the ads show up or if we click on them? Or both?

I believe both. Bingo takes care of the ads so if you really want to you can ask him about them, but usually there isn't much control over the individual ads in a rotation.

Yeah, the ads seem to flash different colours about 60 times per second. Way too annoying.
A couple of workarounds; I find I don't get them in Firefox, or if I set my IE security setting as high as they can go.

Im banning myself from the site until that ad is gone. I can't concentrate on the posts I'm reading. Seriously lame. Especially since its for a lame fake ad in the first Place

I realize that this may be a problem, So I am unbanning myself and hoping that green flashing ad will have run it's course by the end of the month.
I think this may be the cause of the lack of wins by the Flames. Get rid of the Green flashing banner and we will win again.

We haven't changed ad providers, the ad provider rotates various ads (including Google ads) in and out of place. Like I said if someone really has a problem with it either contact Bingo (I don't know if he's seen this thread), or use one of the suggested remedies (I don't get them in firefox), or simply ignore them.
Without ads, maintaining this site wouldn't be possible so it's simply a necessary evil.

Hate to do this to you Bingo, but I've had to block CP's ads. They were overworking my CPU (2.4 GHz) and slowing down my computer to a snail's pace! WDF?

I'm using firefox and I only get the flashing/shaking ads. How the heck can you ignore those flashing ads?

Lol if I can ignore some of the stuff that gets posted by some people, I can ignore anything. Plus I have a 3 year old.

Adblock Plus
I generally have CP whitelisted (which means I'll allow CP to show me ads), but until these ads are gone I'm back to blocking.

I think the smiley ads are worse. At least with the flashing ones, you don't have:
"HELLLLLLOOOOOOOOO???!?!?!?" "HELLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOO??!?!?!?!?"
God that is annoying. I shouldn't have to turn my sound off just so I don't have to hear that.
