Default Pats vs. Colts

So who is excited about this game on Sunday? I don't watch the NFL that much and really only watch bits of peices of some games (Colts, Pats, Bucs cause of Garcia, Packers, etc).

But this game is gonna be HUGE!!! I can't wait! Anyone know if its on CBS or Fox?

I know the Pats are steamrolling over everyone this year and Brady is just on fire, but I really hope the true #1 QB in the league can make it four in a roll against the favoured Pats

So who do you guys want to win and who do guys think will win?

Also, who wants to see Brady break Mannings TD pass record and who thinks Brady will do it? I hope he doesn't, but I think he will

Discuss!

Pats by ten is what I'm calling. He will break the record because Bill is pissed at the league and will continue to run up the score. I hope the game lives up to the hype. It will certainly be a tough test to win in the RCA dome, but the stakes are huge with home field advantage on the line.

This is going to be a pretty good Sunday. I'll be watching this game and then a key Sunday Night match up between Eagles and Cowboys.

should be on CBS since they have the rights to the AFC. I can't imagine the game won't be televised, it should be the national game, and fortunately, since the Seahawks are the in NFC we won't have to worry about local coverage.

Diehard INDY fan right here!!!!! Been a Colts fan for about 15 years now. That AFC Championship game last year was one of the most exciting games i've seen! Here's hoping for the same result. I can see how people are saying we are the underdogs with the way NE is playing this season but we aren't playing poorly by any means ourselves. Both defenses are in the top 5 in the NFL this season and both offenses are flat out sick when they are at the top of their game. It's going to be a great game to watch the two best teams in the NFL go at it. I think it's going to come down to defense in this game. It's going to be almost impossible to shut down either Manning or Brady but whichever team limits the big plays and let's the other team have the short 3 to 4 yard plays will win it. I have been waiting for this game since the schedule was announced. I'm gonna take the Colts by 3!! GO COLTS!

They're both great teams, but this is more of a test for the Colts then the Pats.

The Pats offense just comes at you in waves, they don't take plays off, and even though Manning is possibly the best QB in the NHL, I'd have to say Brady is probably the smartest QB in the NFL.

The Pats just batter you until your exhausted, and because they're pissed about their reputation, they want to run up the score on everybody. The Colts represent the ultimate challenge for them, and this is a statement game for the Pats, expect this one not to be close.

The Pats want the undefeated season this year, and barring injuries, I think they're going to get it.

Studying takes a backseat to this game.....this game better live up to the hype.

I call Pats by 10 as well. They are just firing on all cylinders now and no one has shown they can even slow them down a little bit. I don't beleive Indy will be the first defense to do that, but you never know. Hopefully this one turns out to be a classic, like most other Pats vs. Colts games have been.

I think it is the late game (2:00 pm) on CBS Sunday.

Pats opened as 5 point favorites. I'll take the Pats minus the points. Collinsworth today on the Jim Rome show said the Pats are the best team he has EVER seen. Colts are damn good too IMO.

Well most times when we get the great hype like this the steak sizzles out. I think it will be a close game for the first 35 minutes and the Pats eventually walk away with it and win by 17 plus. I'd like to see the Colts take them down, but I'm putting 14 confidence points in my CP pickem pool on the Pats this week.

Anybody know what Harrison's status is? If he's healthy, I think the Colts have the horses (hehe) to keep pace with the Patriots offensively. Otherwise, the Pats run away with this one as the Colts just won't be able to keep pace. I think this game will be one of those TD after TD games where if you don't score on one of your possessions, you lose. Basically how most of the games on Madden are.

I could see the Colts trying to control the time of possession battle with their superior running game too, but if the Pats can make their quick strikes anyway, it'll be moot.

I'll be cheering for multiple TD's for Harrison, Addai, and Ben Watson (hopefully not injured) at any rate, for selfish fantasy football reasons.

Marvin Harrison (10/30, knee) is probable for Sunday's game against New England.

I can not find anything else other than he is probable.

According to NFL.com's fantasy football tips, Harrison is expected to play and Benjamin Watson is questionable, meaning he's pretty unlikely to play. Watson and Harrison are obviously on completely different levels as far as importance to their teams.

If the Colts can run the ball against the Pats, I think they have a decent shot of knocking the Pats off. I really think the Colts can wear down that old group of linebackers by running the ball with Addai and going on those 10-12 play drives. The Colts are a team that can pressure Brady with just rushing 4, Freeny/Light will be a huge matchup this weekend.

I think the 3-4 system is something the Colts offensive line really struggles with. Not sure what Ugoh's status is but the Colts offensive line is really going to be put to the test. The Pats special teams scare me too, the Colts coverage unit with the exception of a few games has been horrible this year and the Pats have already brought back a few kicks.

I think the Pats win by a FG. As much as I've been looking forward to this game and will enjoy watching it, it is only one regular season game. No trophys are handed out, and both teams still have a long way to go. If the Colts have proven anything in the last 5 years, it's that regular season wins don't equal sucsess in the post season. Should still be a hell of a game though

Brady will pick apart the Colts running long slow drives down the field. Manning wont get the time to keep the Ponys in the game longer than the 3rd quarter.

In there respective PC's today it's pretty obvious that Brady and Manning have great respect for one another, both class acts. If only the Pats coach wasen't such a tool it be a lot easier to respect them. Really don't miss the days of Vanderjet running his mouth all week before a big Pats/Colts game.

Pats by 17, they run the table, win 19 games and Belechek packs it in.
