These is an ESPN zone in Times Square. If they were able to pick up a Stampeders game for me a few summers ago, I'm sure they will pick up the Flames game.

I was just in Manhattan last weekend.
Don't bother with ESPN - they only carry their own networks, so they won't show any hockey at all. The World Series was on, but 99% of the people were only interested in College Football.
We went to the Leafs - Rangers game at MSG. We went to an Italian rest/sports bar across the street. It was full of Ranger fans, but again most of the TVs were tuned to college football. I forget the name of the place, but it might be the best bet ( I think it was Cafe 31st 220 W. 31st St. (between 7th & 8th Ave.) New York, NY across from The Garden). . .

This place was fun:
Jeremy's Ale House, 228 Front Street, between Beekman Street and Peck Slip (there are bras all over the ceiling for some reason)
http://nymag.com/nightlife/articles/.../04/040628.htm
Nothing can keep devoted fans of Jeremy's Ale House away from its 32-ounce Styrofoam buckets of beer, which keep the copious suds remarkably cold from start to finish. So on June 16, when Jeremy's officially relocated from its old warehouse on 254 Front Street to equally spacious, if not exactly improved, digs down the block, the fishermen, finance kids, and construction workers followed. The move marks Jeremy's fifth South Street Seaport location (its fourth on Front Street) since opening in 1974. "I call it 'the oldest established permanent floating saloon in New York,'" laughs owner Jeremy Holin. Also along for the ride: Fried clams bordering on bar-food perfection, the famed "Eye Opener" special (8 a.m.-10 a.m.; $1.75 buckets of Coors), and the sign reading, "At Jeremy's Ale House, you always get a little head." The only irreplaceable item: 254 Front's poignant, makeshift 9/11 memorial ("We lost a lot of friends," explains Holin), which is being torn down, along with the building. As for the bras that brandished the old space, new ones are being donated. Ladies, do stop by and help the fellas out.

Maybe ask these folks where to go:

Yeah, I stopped in the Times Square ESPN Zone this past Spring and asked if they have any hockey on, just gave me a confused look so I left.
I just walked by there last night actually, in DC right now for the Caps/Flyers ganme. Nice city, still haven't seen another Caps jersey though but there were a pack of 6 kids in Flyers jerseys.

I was there for the Rangers home opener this year. Baseball playoffs were on aswell, but I went to the ESPN Zone in Times Square and was able to get the Flames game no problem.

Go to McSorely's (no, it has nothing to do with a certain former Oiler; in fact, it's been in the same place for a good century-and-a-half) Ale House in the East Village. I have doubts they've installed TVs, let alone started paying for a provider that might show Flames games, but it's still an experience worth having. They keep sawdust on the floor in case of spills, there's only a men's bathroom, and your beer selection is limited to two options: light or dark.
Hypothetically:
You: Hi, I would like a double vodka coke.
Bartender: Light or dark?
You: Huh?
Bartender: I said, light, or dark?
You: I said, double vodka coke.
Bartender: No vodka, no coke. Light or dark?
You: Light, I guess. You mean beer, right?
Bartender: Here you go, jackass.
You: Two small glasses of it? Where are the pints?
Bartender: Drink them and get out.
Oh look, here's a link: http://www.mcsorleysnewyork.com/
Seriously. It's awesome. Go.

Interesting - they told me they can only show ESPN channels, none of which carry hockey.

I've seen HNIC at ESPN zone in TS, they'll show it ... they take requests quite well as well.
Make sure you wear your jersey that day walking around.

Every time I'm there I've seen a flames jersey, once on 6th ave, once at applebees in TC and once at a Jets game.

I was kind of guessing that they would have told us the same thing. However when I arrived there were already hockey games on the smaller screens and the big ones were playing college football and baseball. They had no problem changing one of the small ones to the flames game.
Strange that we got two different answers only a month and a half apart.

I managed to the an ESPN Zone in Baltimore to show a Flames/Ducks playoff game. But then they kicked everyone out and closed before the game was over.

man, as a resident NY flames fan, I gotta say good luck. It's not hard to find a place to play the game for you during the playoffs, but regular season game between 2 canadian teams? odds aren't very good. The best places would be the sports bars around Madison Square garden. Or you can come to my house, but you gotta bring the nachos.
