I would guess that with all the political and economical problems that Argentina has had over the past two years that it was local attackers rather than Al Qaeda. I realize that they have targeted Citibank but it seems a little pointless to attack a bank in Argentina.

They may have bombed Citibank because they were tired of getting endless offers of Citibank Visas and personal loans at 29% interest.
Just Kidding.

Could be the work of Juan Valdez and his faithful mule "Pepe" as well. Why does al Qeada automatically get blamed for every bombing in the world? It does not make much sense for Argentina to be an al Qeada target, but why should reasoning come into play?

Mule?
He is a burro, moron.

No really, why do they???
That is a GOOD question.
Ever since 9/11, al queda is allegedly behind, in one way or another, EVERY terrorist bombing around the world, is this not a little suspicous, what did all the other terorists, stop terrorising?? I dont think so.

READ people...
It says Al-Queda COULD be behind it. Right in the article, and explains WHY they were named as POSSIBLY being behind the bombings.
It wasn't immediately clear whether the blasts were carried out by an international terrorist network such as Al Qaeda, or by local groups. Citibank has been named in Al Qaeda documents as a target for attacks
