Default Sports Select odds on line

Is there somewhere I can get on-line SS odds sooner than when they're published in the 'papers? NHL odds seem to be published the morning of the games and I'd like to get them a day earlier. Are they available on line?

Thats the best one I know of. On the side tab they have the point spread list too.

The best site for this would be the Western Canada Lottery Corporation website at http://www.wclc.com/sport_select/pro...game_list.html
they update everyday. As for NHL they only seem to release the odds the day of.

Edit: darn Sylvanfan beat me to it

How does gold Proline work? Is there some match tournament format?

I only bet on football and very few times on hockey.

And if you buy your tickets and the odds go down, I believe you get the odds on your ticket. Which could be very good for you.

Why anyone plays SS is beyond me! The odds you get (On spreads) is equivilant of -127 for every game! Go to any online sportsbook and you'll get way better odds and for much less of a 'cut.' Most online will let you bet the spread for -105 or -110.

To put into perspective, if you win $100, the nice sports select guys took 27$ from you to play that bet

But then you have to wait for your cash. Me, personally I only bet occasionally but Monday night's game was very profitable for me.

SS is fun for the casual gambler. If your dropping significant funds then its likely youll use a sports book. But if you want to bet $2 or $5 or $10 on a few games here and there then its a good alternative. Admitedly, the odds they give and the design of the games rips off the consumer.

It's too bad Sports Select wouldn't set up an online gambling system, where a guy could play pro-line/over-under/etc thru their website. It could be set up just like a poker site (ex: Tiger Gaming).

I'd play a lot more often if I didn't always have to go pick up and fill out one of their cards. It's especially hard to do this around my work hours.

Know anyone I could talk to?

But, no, it's not exactly what you think. When we meet in Vancouver, be sure to ask me and I'll tell you what I'm doing. It's not gambling.
