If anyobdy actually saw the game what a game it was. Just from start to finsh an amazing game. Around 12 o clock saturday night we got the car a going and met in bp's on bow trail. There was about 56 guys, and we all just spent about 2 hours in the lounge before the bus came. Sharing some good football stories and ragging on the cowboys fans carried on till around 2 when the bus got going. With the amount of beer brought with us it made the drive bearable. Turned on some movies and yada yada yada. Eventually we ended up in Seattle around 8 the next night. The bus driver would not use the gas what so ever and ended up making us about 4 hours behind time. However the planner of it all, made the drive bearable with handing out an NFL pool for the day of football. We picked up some AM radio and got updates throughout the day. After taking a lot of those annoying bus tours for Hollywood stars this summer, it was nice to be on a bus with sports fan. There was a few guys from Edmonton that said how disgusted they were with how many Flames fans there had become in Edmonton. It feels weird being able to talk about the flames and realize you have something to back it up!
We got in around 7 or 8 and all went to the local pub to watch the Sunday night game. It was a hell of a game, and after that and some more eats we headed back to get some sleep. The next day we got to tour the city. Was suprised how small it was but there was still a lot of stuff to see. The Rock And Roll hall of fame along with the ocean allowed for some time burning. We went and saw the key arena and went inside Safeco. Also on the bus we met a black man who use to live in Olds, and said how weird it was up here...not to many black people. Was a good laugh.
After that it was off to tailgate where the Seahawks just through a massive party. So many things to do along with free food allowed for it to be one hell of a time. The local radio guys were down there along with the crew from ESPN. After that the doors opened and we went by the field to get some pictures of some players. Got to see the sky cam they use and man is it ever cool. Saw Al Michales and then lucky enough just as we were told we now needed tickets to stand due to ABC, we bumped into Edgar Martinez. Told him one more year and he was a really nice guy. Due to it being MNF the tour guy only could get us bleeds but it was worth it. Tons of cowboy fans of course made for a better game. The game itself being my first NFL experince was amazing. The skill in those players is just sick and they all got mad speed. Also we picked the best game to go to, what a game it was! It had everything a monday night football game should have. Stood up for the entire second half. Watching Jerry rice was just amazing, being the best WR of all time and all. The game was a blur and just wayy 2 much fun. Got back to the hotel that night and just had a little after party with the rest of the guys jammed into a hotel room.
For the money it was it was a great investment. This guy who runs it works his ass of and is nothing but a class guy. Next year he plans to do it again if he can keep up the fan base, so everybody try this out. Everybodys a sport fans so the conversations are all centred around sports and fun ones to have. Also cheap american beer is never bad. Bush and Bush light. Tired as heck because i got in around 4 last night. Anyways overall, Seahawks Shuttle was an amazing event,.
