Default Suggestion for the Back Burner title

I like the new name, but I think the captions should be flipped. The larger caption shouldn't be "Flames Prospects Forum" but rather the "Quad Cities Flames Forum" to help it stand out and to make QC fans welcome.

QC is not only the Flames prospect farm...but it's own organization in it's own right with its own goals besides just training prospects for the big club. They also want to win and I'm sure the fans are more concerned with the success of the players and the club as a whole rather than it appearing like it's only purpose is to train players to leave the QC. QC should get first billing in the title, and not the prospects.

The new goggles also do nothing.

We wanted something inclusive (all prospects) rather than exclusive (QC only).. one of the reasons we didn't go with any of the QC specific names (which were excellent!) too.

How about having both, I've changed it. Just want to make sure it's not QC only, all threads about prospects should go there as well.

Quad City is already mentioned in the subtitle.

Point is that they're all prospects anyway. Quad City shouldn't have any prominence over the others.

I'd change it back.

I vote that this forum gets moved one lower than OT forum, because I am used to clicking the second one down for OT stuff! haha no big deal, but it's gonna mess me up for a few days

Gee, way to go to support our affiliate. They are not all prospects, it's obvious some of them will be career AHLers and the lifeblood of that organization and fan favorites for the QC fans.

QC isn't just a prospect generator, it's a franchise that's trying to attract fans and be a viable sports business providing good entertainment and professional hockey for the QC.

I like your idea Photon, it's cool now. I do second REDVAN however, it could be moved down one to keep Off Topic at it's traditional place.

I disagree on both counts. Oh, and by the way, nobody's lobbied harder for the creation of the forum than myself, so lay off the "not supporting the affiliate" bit.

Prospects are prospects.

It's a hockey forum. Off-Topic is secondary.

Me TOO! omgz...

Seriously though. I've done this at least 5 times today. You're screwing with my emotions, photon.

And redvan, stay the hell out of the left lane. Wait. Forget it.

Keep the prospects forum second from the top. Give it a chance to grow. I think it needs a prominent position given the subject matter.

Folks can just get used to off-topic third in the queue. It's popular and can be found easily enough. It's not like it is tucked up into a cubbyhole subforum.

It'll take you about a day to get used to it.
