Default One question and one suggestions...

I was wondering if there was anyway I can post more than 8 pics in one post, when I do the OOT? If there is more than 4 games that day I have to split it up into 2 or 3 posts. They are very small sizes and it would just be nice not having to break them up.

Also just curious if we could get the conference standing where the countdown use to be...or does CP have plans for something else?

Thanks!

A conference standing was kind of what I had in mind for that.. though keeping it updated would be the issue. If it's an image someone's got to make it, if it's text someone's got to keep it updated.

It's been on my far out list of things I'd like to accomplish someday to create some software that does it automagically.. actually what I wanted to do was a flash thing where you could select the conference, team, etc and get all kinds of league stats, as well as the next game coming up.

I'll check about the images thing.

Temporarily turn off your signature when you make consecutive posts. That way it takes up less screen real estate. That would help a bit.

Alright I cranked it up to 30 just in case everyone in the league is playing on the same night.

Wouldn't that be 15 then?

Hey Photon, if you EVER want any graphics done, PM me. I love making stuff if you haven't noticed, and I'll do some stuff for free if it's interesting. I would do probably 90% of the requests that either contribute to the forum or have to do with the Flames. Banners, logos, headers, etc etc etc. There would be no obligation for you to use them, but I could humour any suggestions.

You've likely seen much of the stuff i've done here, so let me know. Seriously.

There's two images per game though, one for each team

In the case of a standings image it would have to be made every day to reflect the current standings, which is a bad way to do it IMO.. It'd be more an image generated by a program once a day I think.

But thanks for the offer, I know I'd like to update the look of both the forum and the front page (though no one seems to want to take on that project. It's more than just making an HTML template). Time's scarce for most people though and both are big projects.

If you ever want something like that, it takes very little time for me to put graphics together, even if you just gave me the dimensions of what images you need, and the template as an html, i could easily put stuff together. I have some html experience, so i could be helpful.

If you wanted a new look, i could maybe create 2 or 3 graphics in a set of dimensions. For example, if you wanted to start with the top left calgarypuck.com banner, I could make 2 or 3 292x100px banners and you could pick which, if any, you liked. Then we could base the other graphics off it for continuity and composition, and we could work within a colour pallete that is web friendly and VBullitin (if there are restrictions) friendly.

Haha, I'll just say the door's always open, and I'll leave the ball in your court.
