Moose hunting via the internet

Hunters soon may be able to sit at their computers and blast away at animals on a Texas ranch via the Internet, a prospect that has state wildlife officials up in arms.

The Web site already offers target practice with a .22 caliber rifle and could soon let hunters shoot at deer, antelope and wild pigs, site creator John Underwood said on Tuesday.

Wow thats truly bizarre. I'm not sure what to think of it. I'm not a hunter, so I guess it sort of bugs me....just seems really odd to me for some reason.

Wow, that's ######ed. I do hunt, and it makes aboslutely no sense to me for someone to want to do this. I guess there are probably a bunch of rich losers who just want heads for their wall and to be able to tell people that they shot it without having to put in any of the effort, but I can't see any serious hunters wanting to do this. You might as well just have someone take a camera with them and tell them which one to shoot for you.
