Default Firefox help

On my computer, it does Windows Update(s).

Then it says to reboot. However, I have about 15 webpages open,
that I really don't want to lose, but at the same time I don't need
to bookmark (nor do I want to open them all manually).

So, I crash firefox.exe and reboot. Once the machine comes up,
start Firefox and it says I can "restore session". Great!

Now, 10 minutes later, it wants to reboot after updates AGAIN!

Is there a way I can store the Firefox session and start it up again
without crashing firefox.exe using Task Mangler?

Thanks,
ers

Yeah, just hit reboot, and it works. But isn't there a way to do
it on the fly for other occaisions?

I thought there used to be a feature to do that, but if you don't want to crash the browser, you can go into tools>Options>Main and for the start page click "Use Current Pages". Then when it starts up it will use your current tabs. (note: you will probably want to reset your homepage later - just include it as one of the tabs to save, then delete the extraneous ones later)

I'm surprised this isn't part of the browser's main functionality!

Try this addon. I havn't used it but it sounds like it does what you are asking for:
