Default hockey pool advice

I'm in a fairly intricate keeper-type hockey pool with a salary cap and some pretty intense rules.

One thing we do is draft prospects...a prospect is defined as any player taken in the last three nhl entry drafts that has not played 25 NHL games.

What I'm looking for here is good advice re. prospects. Keep in mind the scoring is based entirely on goals and assists for players and on wins and shutouts for goalies, so let me know any players you think have the greatest offensive upside.

Keep in mind, the following players have already been picked or are not eligible based on the 25 games rule:

2005 draft:

Crosby
Bobby Ryan
Jack Johnson
Benoit Pouliot
Gilbert Brule
Jack Skille
Devin Setoguchi
Brian Lee
Luc Bourdon
Anze Kopitar
Tuuka Rask
Nicklas Bergfors
T.J. Oshie
Guy Latendresse
M.E. Vlasic
Paul Stastny
Danny Syvret

2006:

Eric Johnson
Jordan Staal
Jonathan Toews
Nicklas Backstrom
Phil Kessel
Derrick Brassard
Kyle Okposo
James Sheppard
Michael Frolik
Bryan Little
Leland Irving

2007:

all are available

...so let me know any prospects with great offensive upside.

...also if you have any great sleepers for the next couple years (i.e. guys that will improve) that don't fit the prospect description (such as a player drafted before 2005 who was not a top-ten pick who is about to make the jump)...or any great veteran sleepers as well

Well Peter Meuller should get a lot of chances with Phoenix this coming year. I also like Cogliano's odds of sticking with the Grease this year. Gagner gets a lot of publicity, but Cogliano's looked better as the preseason marches on.

The guys I'd be looking at:

2005: Letang (if you have defensemen slots), Hensick, Kalus, Hanzal, Cogliano

2006: Mueller

Beyond that, it's pretty much a crapshoot.

...yeah Phoenix has a few guys that could turn into stars (Mueller, Hanzal, Turris)

...I agree, Cogliano looked pretty good at the dome last Saturday

...I should mention that we can retain prospect for three years at no cost before we have to promote them, so I'm not even necessarily looking for guys that are expecting to play this year (Hensick is a good example of this because although he's expected to play, there are some other guys that will be better offensively in a few years)

...still I appreciate the advice so far, thanks guys

Wow my league is almost the exact same with the prospects.

Bryan Little made the Thrashers team this year, and could be good. And Brassard will be good in Columbus for next year.
