Stamps fined $10,000

As per Mike Petrie's Insider, for their comments after the league decided that the no call on the Burris hit was correct.

That's just ######ed. I don't personally think the play should have been penalized (Moreno was falling at the same time and just unfortunately landed on Hank's shoulder) but the Stamps are effectively being told they don't have the right to publicly disagree with a decision from the head office? The article in no way disparages or bad-mouths the league, they simply state that the finding (in their opinion) was not consistent with other instances of roughing and perhaps cost the Stamps an opportunity to win the game. I can only shake my head at the stupidity of this...

If that was Toronto Argonauts complaining, I'll say the league would have probably pay them $10,000. I still think Moreno should still get penalized on that. The replay showed Burris was already down out of bounds when Moreno hit him (unintentionally or not).

Moreno was already in the air by the time Burris was out, I don't think any human could have stopped himself at that point.

I cna't believe the president is saying they would have won the game if it wasn't for the non-call. What says they were going to score anything, can he see into the future that didn't happen?

Come on, their chances would have a lot better if the penalty was called on that play. They could have been in the 2 yards line with first down instead of 13 or 15 yards on 3rd down.

Maybe, Maybe Not. They still could have been stopped, I just think it was a bit foolish that they wanted the win because of a missed call. IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME! Not to mention the call could have gone either way, it was clear cut a penalty.
