Hawks GM finally pulled off the trade, he was trying to set up for about 2 weeks. After all, Sheldon Souray was traded for Penguins forward Jan Bulis.
Hawks were pretty close to bring 3 top-6 forwards, for Souray, but ended up with big, fast skating Czech winger.
“This is the final trade of my plan”, said Hawks GM Pointman. “It was sorta like an off-season job. Now I’ve got a line-up I want, if you can say that about the worst team in the league. I mean that roster is now generally balanced and I have exactly the proportion of big/small/defensive/offensive players I want. Jan Bulis is the best overall player in Hawks line-up and will likely play on the wing on the top line.“
