The spread offence comes to Michigan

I'm a huge Michigan fan, and didn't see any threads for this, so I thought I'd throw this out there. I, for one, am psyched that Rich Rodriguez is now the head coach at U of M. I'm quite glad he cleaned house and fired all but one assistant coach, and can only hope Ryan Mallet transfers soon. Illinois runs the spread, and did pretty well. But knowing the talent that Michigan can bring in, I have high hopes for the future. Any other college fans out there feel the need to chime in?

I believe Utah walks into the big house early next season. So I hope that Michigan has trouble learning the new system and get smacked around.

They must have thrown a big fat pile of money at Rich Rodriguez. I'm not sure they could've gotten him to leave his alma mater, where he competes for a Ntional Championship every year without one.

I was stunned as well. Oh well it's the Big Ten maybe he can make the conference have 2 good teams next year than they can actually claim they deserve to be in a title game.
