Facebook Issues...

Has anyone had trouble using facebook the last couple days? I keep getting timeouts, and the pages load very slow...

No I haven't. Things seem fine to me. This could be a problem however, mostly during working hours.

All those stupid applications are definately bogging down the site. I hate it when you visit a profile and they have every application. Do you really need or want all that crap on your page??

I don't understand why people add all that extra crap. When you add the application, it clearly states you are submitting all of your personal information. Dumb in my opinion. I deny them all.

This will be the down fall of Facebook. I knew it wouldn't be long before Facebook got all crapped up. It use to be simple, easy to use and nice to look at. Now it's cluttered, annoying and ugly. The reason I never joined myspace was because people could customize their web page. Most people make terrible web designers (except the real web designers). People who make their background a picture that doesn't move should have their internets taken away. I've been sent 3 WereWolf application invitations this week. I'm with you, I decline every application invite I get.

The only one I added was "Hockeyfan" to add the Flames...people need to stop accepting every invite they get.

I'm the same, I never add any of these applications and I get pissed off at people when they get sent to me.

I've added the "where I've been" app...but that's just a map. I agree the things like 'superwall' and stuff aren't really what facebook is about. I guess the good part is you can still choose. Most of my friends still have simple pages. I read today though that facebook is about to get another major investment pumped into it that will increase the 'options for our users'. Great.

I only have the favourite hockey team, and the honesty box. Other than that, its just the regular wall.

I think they should just limit them amount one person can have at one time, then it would force people to pick and choose ones they actually like. Not just put them on because it adds to their coolness

Facebook is boring now. Pretty repititive if you ask me, I've noticed alot of people barely use it anymore.

At least if you click the "hide" blue triangle thingy, it hides that app for every profile you look at

Thank god you can finally mark all the notifications from the junk as spam and not get them anymore. That really pissed me off though.

I'm having problems now too, I get errors when I try log in.
