I've noticed that Sportsnet is showing just one live premiership game this season as opposed to a triple header in previous seasons. I hear it's connected to a rights issue. I know 'The Score' is showing a live game on Sundays but that is only until November. After that I think there are 2 sunday games for the rest of the season looking at the schedule. So I am really going to be deprived over live games.
Has anyone heard of any other channels I can subscribe to? I heard there is a package on Setanta if you are a Shaw Digital customer? Anyone know of this. Fox Sports World Canada is rubbish, they just have news casts about the games but no live games on the weekends.
I know there are all kinds of software you can download on the net like ####### to catch feeds but to be honest I can't be bothered with all that malarkey, I'd rather just sit down infront of the box and pay for a channel if I have to.
Sentanta sports is available on Digital Shaw (channel 154 in Red Deer). It costs about $15 per month I believe. The free preview is just about over, if it isn't already. The coverage has been pretty good so I'll probably be subscribing.
I didn't even know there was a free preview. I'll check it out. $15 doesn't sound to bad. I've just come back from England, was over there for a few weeks and Setanta is gradually taking off there.
Sportsnet doesn't release it schedules until very late, sometimes you don't even know on the friday. Atleast I'll be able to check Setanta's lineup to see if Liverpool are playing.
