It has been sold out for a while, so I'm willing to bet the blackout will be lifted.

Where were you watching? In calgary? I think there is a league rule that no matter what, no labour day games can be blacked out. and I think that rule has been around for at least a couple years.

Anyway, with Ted hellard at the helm, and the game being sold out, there is no way he would black this one out. doesn't make any sense to. Black out a game when it's colder outside and you kind of have to push people to go to the stadium to watch.

That sucks. I thought they would have put this game in HD for sure since it's always one of the best of the season. Maybe the Oct 8 will be in HD.

I wonder if there's something about Calgary having one of the largest HD markets for CFL, Regina having one of the smallest; and the possibility at the begining of the season of this not being a sell out affected TSN's choice to not make this game HD?

while i don't doubt that it isn't in HD if so many of you say so then why has TSN been advertising on tv that it is in HD?

They have been running those "big weekend" commercials or whatever they call them, where they list all the stuff they will be showing on the weekend. and i paid special attention when i saw it last night and it specifically says avail on TSN HD and they never say that unless it is in HD. but their website clearly lists only the friday and late sunday game as being in HD.

On Bell the game is showing as being blacked out as of now. For you guys on Shaw- what are you seeing for tomorrow?

Also, wasn't there something about how a team is only allowed to lift the blackouts on X number of games per season?

With the sellout the blackout will probably be lifted.

I pretty sure Ted Hellard said on Friday on the radio that the blackout would be lifted.

Go to the TSN- Alternate feed. On Bell it's 402. (I forget the Star Choice channel)

Discription says Stamps vs. Baltimore from 1994. I started watching it and was a little surprised to see how many Stamps from back then are still on the team. Then I saw the green jerseys.
