New Guitar

i was thinking about getting a new guitar and my two choices are a Schecter C-1 Plus Electric Guitar or a Peavey V-Type NTB Electric Guitar with Tremolo, if you have heard of them i would enjoy some feedback otherwise a gutiar in the 900-1000$ range great for 6 string sweeping great sustain, a pretty decent tremelo bar ( preferably floyd rose), a great soloing guitar!!!

Hmm, I need to save up to get a new guitar. If you like Fender, you should try Stratocaster, definitely one of my favourite

I desperately need a V-Neck strat but I can never find one. I found a soft-V Jimmy Vaughn in a used store in Toronto but I want a hard-v. I need one in Calgary...maybe a Mexican one so it's a decent price Any ideas where to go? Long & Mcquade never has anything. Axe Music is not an authorized Fender dealer. I hate Guitarworks...

I don't know why everyone hates Guitar Works. I've bought my last 2 guitars there. A Larivee acoustic, and a few days ago, I bought a Mexican Strat. Here it is btw....I LOVE it. I'd definitly reccomend it.



In any case, the Guitar works on McLeod trail (near Burger King) has always been good to me. The guys are helpful and don't seem to pressure you into anything. They also will let you try out any amp, pedal or guitar before you buy. Cant speak for other people but my experiences have been good.

To the first poster, either the mexican strat OR the Highway 1 American Strat. They are both great guitars that cost under $1000.

when i first bought my guitar gutiar works had a good selection of fender guitars just try it, other than that you could try ordering it online from sweetwatermusic.com or musiciansfriend.com

Well my current guitars are a Studio Les Paul, and a 72 Telecaster. Both very solid guitars, and the Tele is my favorite by far.
My next venture is going to be a Gibson Firebird. I've wanted one for years. They have great sound, and aren't common like the Les Paul and Strat, so you'll stand out a bit more.
