Don't be an arse at xmas parties!

A funny story from my local paper. Made me laugh because although I'd be considered a "professional" in terms of my career, over the years I have seen several people fired for Christmas party shenanigans.

please, I do that when it's not Christmas!

Christmas Parties are fun, but you also have to gauge who's there, and how to behave. I once got trashed, at a staff christmas party, was sooo looking forward to going to the bars afterwards, as it was one of the BIG nights when everyone's home (man I love small towns) and you get to see people you graduated with, and haven't seen in years.

I ended up on my bosses bathroom floor, and passed out on his couch.

I'm a believer in following what everyone else does. If everyone (esp important people) only has half a glass of wine, then do that. If everyone drinks a lot to get loosened up and have a good time, do that. All depends on your company's culture. Fortunately, my place of work is the latter
