Default Maas to Alouettes

Calvillo being sidelined by a back injury + the Printers signing making this possible.

Some random blogger, who first reported this story from what I saw, is saying that Maas balked at the trade & may not report? I don't see why he'd do that since he now has a MUCH better offence to work with than he had in Hamilton

I'm sure Maas is glad to be out of Hamilton.

This could be a good move by the Als.

Sports Talk on QR 77 is saying Maas won't go to MTL.

Maybe Uncle Hugh up north has informed the league that Maas is his.

I am glad Printers signed with an Eastern team. Mind you, I think teams in the West are all happy with their QB right now. BC with 3 good QB Dickerson, Pierce and Jackson, Saskatchewan is very happy with their starter Kerry Joseph, Calgary in Henry Burris especially lately and Edmonton with Ricky Ray. In the East, Winnipeg is happy with Kevin Glenn. I am surprised Toronto is going after him when they have Michael Bishop already. They were thinking of signing the guy then trade him to Hamilton? Hmmm... what are those guys smoking over in TO? Do they think every single player would like to sign with Toronto? I can see Montreal going after the guy because of Calvillo's injury and future with the team. As far as Jason Maas, he balked at the Als trade because he wants to go back to Edmonton where he had success as a backup.

It looks like Maas has decided to go to Montreal.
