Just a heads up. Not sure how long the promo goes for. This deal was also for PS3, 10 games drops the price too I believe $299

Just a heads up, you can now get a decent quality DVD player for $100

Wow! That's a pretty good deal, any restrictions to be aware of other than damaged games?

They usually have a list of qualifying games that they think can re-sell at a profit. As long as your games are on the list, they will take em.
Games that I usually have a hard time turning in are sports related ones, especially the EA series.

Yeah I seen this promotion a while back for the PS3, trade in 10 games and I believe it was $399 back before the price drop. So I bring in about 25 of my old PS2 and XBOX games not one signal game qualified under the promotion, closest one was GTA: Liberty City Stories which isn't even that old.
There's a list of game that qualify, just do a search online regarding the promotion just to save some time, rather than going down to the store and getting the cashier to count them one by one.

Here's a link for you, I think it's updated fairly regularly:

A word of warning though, make sure you know their policies about games and whether they have what you want in stock. I tried doing this on a previous deal, 2 of my games didn't qualify so I went to Rogers a bought duplicates of some of the games that did. I went back and they informed me they wouldn't accept doubles. I was ticked because I told the kid that is exactly what I was going to do. I swear I wanted to come over the counter! Another store would take some games while others wouldn't for whatever reason, and another store would take my games but didn't have the system in stock. Finally a my last stop said that the deal wasn't on anymore (funny, the other 3 stores still have it?).
Bitter, no I'm not bitter...

The games have to be worth $8 or more in trade value, by which I mean that they need to be fairly new (within the last six months). They need their cases and booklets, and GBA games don't count. Also, you need a driver's license to trade games (there's a bunch of other options here, but it's different at every store). Lastly, don't buy the guarantee; last I heard, Microsoft guarantees the system for three years, so there's no point in buying the EB one.

That's good advice for pretty much every electronic product. Especially if buying at Future Shop (damn s).

Thanks for the Link Hockey PhD...
I was thinking about this and then I remembered - the new X-boxes with HDMI are coming out soon, I think I'll be waiting for that.

I'm a packrat, I've never ever sold any of my games off. I still have about 40 or 50 Nintendo games that's collecting dust, like 60 PS2 games, and about 20 GC games. And it's not like I have time to play them much either. I dunno, maybe I'm weird, but I always like to hold onto games that I spent so much money on, even if I don't play them anymore.
