Space lego, Star Wars figures...
Six Million dollar man action figure with the roll up skin that you could plug into his space capsule.
Another action figure, I think called Pulsar, he had a transparent chest, and a button in the back, that when you pumped it, you could see his heart and lungs working.

Fisher Price Adventure People.
I've actually got work to do today so thanks Calf for starting this thread. I just spent the last half an hour looking for Adventure People on e-bay. The good news though is that the stuff my mom gave away that I thought would be worth a fortune today is not worth a fortune at all.

Yeah I used to like all those Fisher Price toys as well.
He-Man, of course.
MASK was big.
Thundercats too.
I had a bunch of those rubbery WWF guys.
Lego, any type.
I wasn't allowed to play with GI Joe toys, but from what I remember, that cartoon sucked anyway.
One of the collest toys I had was this kit for racing marbles. One of those toys that probably costs a small fortune at the "educational" toy store, but this one was really sweet. You'd construct a small roller coaster-thing with all sorts of different obstacles and a few different paths, and launch the marbles through the thing.
I was such a stats nerd back then I used to name all the marbles and keep stat logs of how they did on the various tracks I built for them.

speaking of LEGO, does anybody hate the fact its near impossible to find plain blocks these days? How are kids supposed to explore their creativity when all the sets out there are predetermined for them? The best part of Lego's was mashing thme together to form all sorts of crazy and weird creations.
oh, and I always loved car race tracks! I still want one.

Hey, I had something like that! The one I had doesn't sound as elaborate as yours, mine had just three different types of building blocks you'd construct it out of, but it was endless fun.

Hmmm like most little girls, my barbies and my barbie accessories ( namely my hot pink motor home) were high on the list, but other than that I was a shameless tomboy.
I had, and probably still have kicking around somewhere, every ghostbuster and ninja turtle figurine/accessory known to man. The day my dog chewed Splinter sticks out in my memory as one of the saddest days of my 8-year old life.
I don't think I ever owned a ken doll.My Barbie and Skipper got married to Eagon and Raphael.
Never had a doll house either.....but I was the only kid on the block with the Ghostbusters station!

I believe in the Pony Power

I had 3 main "phases":
1. Star Wars toys
2. He-man (only a short phase)
3. Transformers (my fave)
I also like GI Joes but wasn't allowed to have them because they were violent. Strangely though I was allowed to have a huge collection of toy guns an other weaponary. One of those weird "parental logic" things I guess.

Awesome topic. I had a bunch...
1. Lego (tons of it, mostly stuff that was Knights and castles and such, used to be yellow for some reason.
2. Star Wars figures
3. Hot Wheels
4. Anything Army/Military related (model kits/figures/die-cast toys)
5. Model trains
6. one of those race car tracks with the controllers (don't remember what they are called?)

Well I had some Ninja Turtles Pizza Shooting Bus thing, where it shot foam or plastic disks.
I was a Thomas the Tank kid though
Lego, I had all the police and fire stations and what not.
But my prized possession was a model train, that had tunnels and bridges and everything like that.

-Construx (spelling?)
-Lego
-Model Trains of various scales (N to O)
-Wooden and tissue rubber band airplanes
-Micro Machines
-Radio shack RC monster truck that took a lickin... made mods for it including a snowplow for my driveway
-And plain ol dirt. I loved playin in the dirt, diggin holes, making cities and streets. I'm really odd.
edit: Good one Jiggy, POGS!!! Still have mine. I remember getting my uncle to machine me a steel whatever you call it, so I would win every game. Kids hated me. Oh, and that marble thing Ro talked about. That was fun while it lasted.

When I was younger (probably between 8 and 10 I would imagine) my brother and I were playing with our newly purchased container of "Turtle Ooze" (it was just slimy green jelly stuff). Anyways, we were flopping it in and out of the container and back and forth in our hands when suddenly I let the ooze slip out of my hands. We both watched it fall and then splat onto our dog's back.
I vividly remember us both standing there, mouths gaping, watching our miniature schnauzer sort of trot off away from us looking a little confused. I don't recall ever experiencing a feeling like that in my life since the incident; it was sort of like a mixture of horror, disgust and fright with a dash of intense intrigue at just what our dog was going to mutate into.
Turns out there was no mutuating and we just had to give her a bath.
