I didn't particularly enjoy it. Though I did get a laugh at it being followed by "Big Brother:UK".
His premise is sound - science is being less and less respected as people are turning back to spirituality. I'm not sure I buy that; I think people are falling back on secular materialism, but whatever. And the reason is quite simple. Scientists have to prove themselves right, which is impossible to do. Spiritual leaders only have to say "prove me wrong", which is equally impossible to do. That should be an easy, but interesting premise to prove.
However, he spends most of his available time proving that spiritual leaders are not all that good at proving themselves right. Well, that doesn't impress me much.
And that goobledeegok at the end there about the internet had nothing to do with scientific reason. What scientific method would you actually use to prove or disprove that 4000 Jews were warned not to go to work on 9/11? Okay. Believe half of what you see, none of what you hear and even less of what you read on the Internet. The signal to noise ratio on the Internet would lead one to believe that there is no signal at all. But I really don't see what that has to do with people putting spirituality ahead of scientific method.
