Default Bell ExpressVu - NCAA Sports Package

Anyone order these channels in the past?

I'm a big college football fan and am just wondering if they're worth the money. I don't watch a lot of college basketball so I'm mainly interested in how the channels cover football.

I'm assuming it works just like Centre Ice does where there's a boatload of games to watch every Saturday. I'm just sick of being forced to watch Ohio St. and Notre Dame blow-out inferior teams on ABC/NBC and only getting SEC coverage from CBS. I'm not too concerned about being able to follow a certain team every week, but being able to watch all of the important games.

Oh man...I'll be stoked if I can watch the Gators every week.

The Gators are definitely on a ton in Calgary. Maybe it's just because they were a great team last year, but it seemed like the Gators were on CBS every week (unless they were playing a weak non-conference 1A team or a 1AA team).

I'm a big Duke fan and I'd consider ordering this if I can get more basketball games next year. Does it generally give you ESPN and ESPNU? If so, I might have to fork over the dollars assuming we make the switch to ExpressVu this year.

Really? I only remember three (South Carolina, Arkansas, Ohio State).

I'm a big Thaddeus Lewis fan so I'm hoping to catch some Duke games this year. Will also be interesting to see how Marcus Jones transitions to LB from QB.

I could be wrong. I'm sure there was more than three though.

There's basically no information on the package online. Hopefully someone's ordered it before since calling Bell to ask about it will probably just end some sales pitch..

Tennessee was on National CBS.

They are a fun team to watch. I don't know if they will start Tibow this year but it will be interesting if he can run the offence full time rather than be a spark plug.

BTW, if you are a Gators fan, I presume you saw the national championship. I watched it live and people were saying Ginn Jr was injured and didn't play most of the game. Where did he get injured? All he did was return a kickoff then run a few routes and never went down???

He got injured in the celebration after the kickoff return TD and didn't play a single play after IIRC.

Which is every other week for an SEC team so thats why they weren't on too often.

Tebow is definitely the starter. If he can throw as well as he runs then the Gators could easily be back in the BCS game, provided Meyer has found suitable replacements on D. The SEC is wide open this year and should be fun to watch.

It's great football, and for some reason CBS HD seems better than ESPN HD or ABC HD.

Besides almost every rink in the SEC has 100,000 seats ... that are always full. I can't wait for the summer to end just thinking about NCAA football.
