Long Distance Providers to Eastern Europe

Does anyone here use a secondary long distance provider to call eastern Europe, specifically Romania? Our current provider Startec is having some problems and were thinkng about other options.

We use Shaw for our phone and have no problems phoning Poland not sure about anyother countries thou.

Not nice but very funny. I don't have anything to add to this thread other than look into shaw homephone because it seems like a good deal!

Real suggestion though for the thread-starter -- is Skype possible? It's free long-distance and they offer free lag as well, but not worse than some other international calls I've suffered through.

No way, Internet is pretty pricey there and the learning curve for the in-laws would be to hard to overcome
