UFA Final Batch winners

Before we get to the winners, a special "Strange UFA Offer" award goes out to the Detroit GM for offering Petr Nedved a contract. For one - why would you want him? Two - he's not a UFA.

Here we go:

Dick Tarnstrom - Minny - 3 @ 0.62/ 15% AHL

Jason Cullimore - Detroit - 2 yrs @ 0.5M, 2 10% AHL

Boyd Devereaux - Detroit- 2 year @ 0.5M 10% AHL

Radoslav Suchy - Montreal - 3 yrs x 0.52M 10% AHL

Jim Dowd - Nashville - 2 yrs x 0.5M, 10% AHL.

Jason Strudwick - Winnipeg - 1 year @ 0.9 mill, 10% AHL
Niko Dimitrakos - Winnipeg - 1 yr @ 0.8 mill 10% AHL

That brings us to Mr. Salvador.

Two GMs offered the identical contract. 2 years @ 2.1/year.

One Gm included their AHL percentage of 10%. The other GM failed to include this detail. The GM that included the full offer gets the player.

Bryca Salvardor - Winnipeg - 2 years @ 2.1 million/year, 10% AHL.

That's a pretty penny for Salvador... much higher than my offer... but if you have the cap space to spare...

well the short list of dmen with a pulse we were looking at all went. darn I'm choked I went as big as I could on Salvador when I thought of going cheap on Cullimore and Suchy. still I think Salvador is the one who has legs and will hold his ranking through Christmas
