It's about time something happened!! Pretty funny that Chris is the last man there when he probably should have been the first one voted off. Great strategy in this one, the women finally figured out that Ami wasn't going to do them any favours down the line. As soon as Ami doesn't win immunity, she's history methinks.

There's what, 4 girls and one guy left? Aren't the last 4 girls split into 2 sides now? If I was Chris I would be working a deal as hard as I could with one of the sides, try to get into the final 3, and hope like hell I could win immunity to make it to the final 2.

He'll survive next week then he's done.
Amy or Julie are next to leave.
My prediction.
However, if you were him, you might pull a switcheroo and keep yourself in a position to be the swing vote, siding with Amy and Julie next week to generate a tie. You might be able to ride that pony quite a while.

I think the fianl 3 will be Chris, Scout and Twila. Scout's dislike for Eliza keeps her out of the mix. Ami's next if she doesn't win immunity. Julie may be a wild card and she hasn't really ticked too many people off yet and she seems to have a relationship with Chris.

I think that Chris should stay with Twila, Scout and Eliza for now. Ami and Julie are mad at the girls already so when they are on the jury more likely to vote for Chris to win. Although Ami seems to have major issues with guys so I doubt she votes for a man to win.
If Chris double crosses Scout and Twila I could see them voting with the girls to vote him off or at least voting against him in the final two if he makes it.
Right now Chris has a good chance to go to the final three as I don't think that Scout and Twila are that found of Eliza and if he does I think he could win the last immunity challenge.

Last nights episode was a Lesbian-fest. I think there were 3 sets of lesbo's out there.
I haven't really got that excited about this survivor. I think they need to make some big changes to the show, it's too predictable and soft on the contestants. I want to really see those suckers suffer. Also, get rid of those puzzle challenges, they are so boring and don't convert well to tv at all.
Maybe they should have an Alpha-Male survivor, with all competitive fit males. They'd probably end up killing each other.
I know that the wide assortment of contestants is done to appeal to a broad range of demographics but the old people and out of shape people drag things down. Except for the odd one like Rudy or Rupert of course.

That would be cool, but we'll never see it for the same reason they'll never make "Survivor: The Canadian Arctic" or "Survivor: Antarctica". For better or for worse, the images of hot chicks in bikinis help seel the show (case in point: look at all the gratuitous boob shots of Ami this season).

They could do a survivor in the Canadian Rockies. I've read Mark Burnett say that it wasn't likely because of the bikini thing but that's not true, in the middle of August there is plenty of bikini weather in the mountains. Also, if they are so worried about the bikini factor they should put more effort into choosing hot women. That one that got voted off last night was not good looking at all.

I watched The Snow Walker last night - great movie - and I agree, seeing Survivors dodging clouds of mosquitos in summer, eating whale blubber, skinning caribou, yada, yada, yada would be pretty good.
A few years ago, there was a Canadian style Survivor show on that was pretty good, in BC. Can't remember the name.

I remember that show, it was really good. It was sponsored by Ford, I think it was called OutofBounds or something like that. There were some Canadian contestants on there. That show was right up my alley.

I wonder if Ami would be included. She seems to be the alpha-male of Vanuatu.
On a related note, if Chris can pull it off and win, he would have to receive consideration as the greatest Survivor player ever.
