Personally I'd like to see Boston Legal and Lost win as many Emmys as possible, along with The Office. Unfortunately there are a lot of shows there that I'm not framiliar with. I naturally assumed The New Advenutres of Old Christine would be cancelled after 2 months due to type casting (mind you BL does well with type cast actors/actresses).
Thoughts on those who got a nod, those who didn't?

2007 Emmy Awards - Soprano Fans
Could be a big night to cap off my favourite TV series ever. The Sopranos has 15 nominations which include James Gandolfini for best actor, Edie Falco for best actress, Michael Imperioli for best supporting actor and both Aida Turturro and Lorraine Bracco for best supporting actress. The final season of The Sopranos will also have three of its episodes nominated for best writing... including the final episode, which left many fans of the show disappointed.

Along with the annual overlooking of "the best show on TV that none of your are watching." The Wire.
Arguably the best police drama in the history of TV and one that deserves recognition.
The Emmys suck.

I don't even remember the last time I watched the Emmys. I am an Emmy hater due to the snubbing of Buffy the Vampire Slayer for 7 years. But I may watch this year to see if Neil Patrick Harris wins. He's the best part of "How I Met Your Mother." Suit up!

If it wasn't for that last episode, I'd wager Sopranos would have best drama locked up for sure. But seeing as it was so controversial... I doubt it'll win.
James Gandolfini should win best Actor though... man, he is good.

Let's not go saying things we can't take back. We all know that ABC's High Incident was the best police drama of all time.

so true. and how often are shows with only 1 season overlooked? because i think Dexter should have been nominated for best drama series and best male lead actor at the very least

Grey's Anatomy makes me cry almost every time. I hope they win a lot of awards. It's good stuff. So is House. Some fairly excellent nominations. Interesting that only Felicity Huffman got the nod for Desperate Housewives.

The Shield gets no love either. There definitely should have been nominations for acting.
