Default Help with Facebook needed....If possible

does anyone know of a Facebook mirror site or another way that i can access the site?
my work has joined the growing list of companies that have blocked it and i'm starting to suffer a little withdrawal.

any help for a fellow Flames fan would be greatly appreciated.

If they have the technology to block it, they also are probably keeping an eye out for "proxy avoidance." Not sure how important Facebook is vs. the risk of losing your job.

You can get set up to check facebook on your cellphone (assuming you have one..I don't have one though) through the facebook mobile feature.

the only problem with iphide is that you can't message or write on people's walls....ah well, can't have it all i guess.

at least part of my boredom is gone.

I am surprised a companys block so that a proxy ghost could hide it. Its very simple and relatively inexpensive to just place a watch server between the WANandLAN to watch traffic, thats what we have setup where I work.

If you work downtown, the number of unsecured wireless networks in Calgary is quite ridiculous. Just borrow one of them.

Photon: at least there is someone else in Calgary who uses iphide.com - I was fearful that I was the only one.

Websense is banning iphide as a "proxy avoidance site". I see it's also against our AUP so you're on your own if you boss decides to get all Keenan on you.

Facebook is actually part of Telus's included sites if you have a web browsing package.

http://babelfish.altavista.com/

type in facebook.com into the webpage to translate,
and translate from any language to english (ie chinese to english) and it should work..

you can't write on people's walls or visit all profiles though, only some..
you can view your own profile, and write on peoples walls thru the wall to wall feature..

it worked a while for me until my work blocked that too.. oh well hahah
