I would imagine that there is a greater demand in areas the get the WWE more than Western Canada. Just a hunch. Ignoring would be bad for business so i am 100% sure that isn't the case.

Believe it or not, I'm not surprised at the Calgary cancelling. There are just certain wrestlers who cannot, or will not perform in this city. Shawn Michaels comes to mind, he hasn't performed here in years, and would probably get shot showing his face around here. Above that, many of the wrestlers feel additional pressure to perform here since Calgarians have incredibly high standards for good wrestling (which can be attributed to the Harts and Stampede Wrestling).
Eric Bischoff said himself that coming to Calgary is like entering a different dimension - the fans are much smarter and more demanding than normal.

UFC and wrestling arent even in the same category and shouldnt be compared to each other at all. If you want to compare UFC to something do it to boxing.

haha... yeah, whatever... i know where you are coming from but come on man... One is the real thing (real fighting, real story lines, real pain) and the other is not the real thing (fake fighting, fake story lines, well... some real pain, but mostly fake pain).
Both are entertainment industry enterprises and one has been slowly stealing market share from the other for years.

Wrestling is just like any other TV show. It's two hours of entertainment. Who cares whether it's real or not. Some people need to chill out and not take the fact that it's not real fighting so serious. And they shouldnt be comparing it to UFC because the two are not one of the same.

I'm not surprised. After receiving the postponement notice from Ticketmaster last week, I was wondering when they could possibly reschedule, as these things are booked months in advance.
I was looking forward to going as it's something my cousin really enjoys and we can do together, but after everything that's gone on, my desire to attend dropped significantly.

Perhaps they couldn't work out the dates between the venues and couldn't peice together a tour.
