Recurring bad dream/Nightmare that you have
I can't be the only person who has that dream where something unfortunate happens to you, and have that same one occur quite frequently. That one where the final result is pretty much the same but the circumstances or details around the main event vary.
In mine I've paid a lot of money for an airplane ticket to fly to an international destination of some type. I'm packed, I'm at the airport, but I've forgotten my passport. Problem is I'm always at an airport thats like 3 hours from my house and I realize this about 1 hour before the flight and try sweet talking the airline folks only to get denied. The airport changes, the destination changes, the price I paid for this always non-refundable ticket changes. But I always forget my passport!
Certainly others have this type of thing occur, what it is? Mine is hardly a bad dream as I don't get killed or suffer any horrific bodily harm. But I'm a cheapskate and wasting money does put me in a bad mood.

Without fail, I am always fighting some kind of war. Always. A lot of the time I am on my own, fighting off a massive invading force. I've been dreaming like this for the better part of ten years now.
Forgot to mention that I ALWAYS win. ALWAYS. But I always get injured as well.

My only recurring nightmare I have is a dark black rain cloud with red eyes, very menacing looking, that follows me around. That's about it. The dream however I'm not about to divulge to anyone here

I have a recurring one where I suddenly realize I am taking one more class at college and haven't shown up all semester. I now have a essay due and final exam on the same day.
I have a similar nightmare where I forget to show up for work.

I never remember my dreams. But funny story, my ex girlfriend would have dreams were she caught me cheating on her (I never did in real life) and she would wake up mad at me.

I used to have the one when I was young where I'd go to school in my underwear....I only lived like 2 minutes from the school, I'd go home for lunch, and well I'd go back after lunch in my ginch and of course I was embarassed. I saw a Simpsons episode once where Homer was hanging out with nerds I think and he ended up in school in his underwear and commented, oh no it's not a dream. But I haven't had that one in years. Probably because I routinely work in my underwear all the time since I just work from home now!

The sun's coming up
She's pulled all the blankets over
Curled in a ball
Like she's hiding from me and
That's when I know
She's gonna be pissed when she wakes up
For terrible things I did to her in her dreams
Anyways...I have the one where I go into work naked. Funny thing is nobody else seems to notice. Also have a lot of dreams where I'm being chased by the cops.

I have a very similar one.
That I thought I droppped the class, then right before exams I find out that I have not dropped it and must write the final. Sometimes it is that I didn't get my class list so I didn't knwo when the calss was, so I never went.
Just lots of stress involved.

I have this awful nightmare where the three-ring circus known as Cirque de Low-leil in Perogyville rights itself onto a respectable level.
I wake up with the cold sweats.

I used to have recurring nightmares about working at Earl's (in the Kitchen) back when I worked there a couple of years ago.
The Printer would be constantly printing, and you wanted nothing more than to do your cleanup and go home, but the bills just wouldn't stop coming in. Nothing overwhelming, but just a constant stream of bills. The printer is set up so it prints really loudly to grab you attention. I would hear that noise all freaking night.
It was awful. Come home from work, go to sleep and then go back to work, it would feel like you never left.

I regularly have nightmares surrounding my parents getting re-married to eachother. They've both re-married wonderful people that I care about so it is very troubling.
I also have bad dream surrounding being late for work or unprepared for the day, that kind of thing.

Yeah after I saw 28 days later (the first one) I had a nasty nightmare about zombies. I think what freaked me out was that in that movie the frackers could actually run.
In my dream the zombies killed my family. It ended with me holed up in a house and thinking I was safe...until a group of zombies drove an RV through the front window.
Crazy .
