Ball Hockey in Calgary

I'm an out of towner (originally from Cowtown) who is looking to move back soon. I play in a men's ball hockey league overseas and am curious to know if there's a league in Calgary. I looked on the internet and didn't find anything. I see Edmonton and Toronto have leagues. Is there much of a scene up there? Any and all info shared would be appreciated.

Quite a few leagues. The Univeristy of Calgary, SAIT, and Mt. Royal all have intramural leagues that you can join even if you are not a student.

There is also a more serious/competitive league - I think its called Calgary Ball Hockey League. As with those type of leagues you get some guys out taking things way too seriously.

On the other end you have the Calgary Sport and Social Club which offers a more casual/co-ed league.

So lots of choice, just a matter of what you want.

Great info. Any of you guys on the Canadian national team that went to Germany last month? Or, anyone from either league on that team?

There are a few guys in Division one and two in the superleagues that are on the Canadian national team....
