Default Builder sues Ald. Craig Burrows

This Burrows guy always rubs me the wrong way.

A homebuilder is suing Ald. Craig Burrows for more than $116,000, claiming he hasn't paid for upgrades to his house.

In a statement of claim filed in Court of Queen's Bench earlier this month, Truman Homes says it constructed a home in Aspen Woods at an agreed to cost of $420,000.

You shouldn't copy the entire article. Include a few pertinant lines, but put a link to the main article.

Sounds like the initial price was paid, construction goes ahead, upgrades are ordered during the building phase but never paid for.
(Disclaimer: These claims have not been proven in a court of law.)

Burrows' term as alderman has been punctuated with bonehead moves.

He is the same guy that managed to get the city to secretly pay $12,000 for a university course on how to save taxpayers money.

During his term as alderman, he once asked: what is there to do in Calgary? Not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer IMO.
