Telus Mobility problems?

Anyone else on Telus Mobility having trouble making calls today? Since about 8am this morning (before the storm) all my outgoing calls have failed. Sometimes the screen reads "call failed", but more often the call just dies and the screen goes back to the wallpaper without saying anything. Phone has been working fine every day up until now.

Just wondering if I am alone with this problem today...

Just tried calling myself and it worked. However being at work I've made all of the rest of my outgoing calls from my desk.

Did you try re-booting the phone?

Could be... I'm on holidays and everything seems to go to heck when i go away for a week.

If I reboot it will bad things happen? Such as losing phone numbers and, potentially, friends?

No. Just turn your phone off, pull the battery out, leave it for a minute, put it back together and then turn it on. You're not resetting anything, except your connection to the network. I should ask: is it a MiKe?

No it isn't a Mike... okay I'll try that.

Okay, I just turned it off and on again and it seems to work now. Well, almost... I called my voice mail since I had been informed earlier I had two new voice mails but when I called it said I had none.
