Hmm, I'm a bit confused. From the article, I can't seem to figure out if it is the mask part or the cage that is the problem. In the discriptions of the potential injuries, it sounds like crappy fiberglass or something in the mask that is weak. But in the end, it talks about cats eye cage. If this is a company that has a fake CSA on a cats eye cage, I wouldn't get myself too worked up. Yeah, lame thing to do, but the vast majority of goalies know the risk of a cats eye cage and make that decission anyways.
I could write an article similar to this with the headline: "Over 90% of NHL goalies wear masks that could be life threatening..."
