does anyone know where i can buy a decent cheap second hand keyboard?

or for those of you more advanced, is there a way to get a midi-out plug-in on my current keyboard that is so old that it doesn't have one?

Talk to my friend Kevin at Irene Besse Keyboards....they often have still servicable but slightly older keyboards available. Tell him you were referred from CP.

As far as retro-fitting midi to a rEALLY old board...it usually isn't feasible. The problem, amongst many others, is that you can't get velocity (hence volume) data for the notes being played. Cheap 2nd hand but midi equipped is a way better idea.

Probably any used music stores, if you want one that has any use you'll probably have to spend a pretty penny for it.
