Default Longboarding hills in Calgary

Any longboarders out there?
More generally, can any posters recommend some freshly paved hills in their area?

What makes a good hill you ask?
-smoooooooth (fresh pavement/asphalt)
-decent length (at least 500m)
-not too crazy steep...I don't want to die, just carve some nice turns.
-not a major road (sarcee, shaganappi)...cars=bad. Larger community roads are great.

My contribution:
Start at the top of 34th Ave SW by the Garrison Woods Safeway. Cruise down 34th. The best part ends at 14th St, but you can keep going down through Mount Royal to Elbow Drive. Takes about 10-15 minutes.

You're cruisin for a bruisin doing that bull. I had a friend get run over and killed a few years ago doing a similar type of activity.

Damn man, really? I'm sorry to hear about that. I've gotta say though, there's smart ways to do it and dumb ways.

Busy roads, running stop signs and the likes are dumb. I stick to the nice cruises where I can always tell where the cars are coming from, the road is smooth and I don't get out of control fast.

There's risk in any activity...skiing, biking, etc. You're cruisin for a bruisin if you disregard safety and common sense.
