Best diet pill ever with slight side effect
I found this blog about a new diet pill that is catching on like wildfire apparently. It is a fat blocker with one little side effect. It makes you lose control of your bowels. The blog is quite funny but has some language in it.
http://angryaussie.wordpress.com/200...y-side-effect/
Here is the website for the pill. http://www.myalli.com/
This just shows the length that some people will go through to lose weight the "easy" way.

The thing is- if taken as intended there are few ill effects.
It's like when they brought out chips made with Elestra oil. Yes, they taste just like normal chips but have no fat. Once again, the fat in them just passes through your body. If you eat the recommended amount, you won't notice anything aside from slightly softer stool. But if you snarf back an entire can of Pringles, be sure to have 2 copies of Reaer's Digest handy.
The site recommends cutting fat back to 15 grams per day. And the site mentions using that fear of a "treatment effect" to help your will power.
Quote:
While no one likes experiencing treatment effects, they might help you think twice about eating questionable fat content. If you think of it like that, alli can act like a security guard for your late-night cravings
|
Yep, if I know there's going to be consequences, I might make a healthier eating choice.

That's great that you don't have an issue with weight. There's no need to be smug about it though. Some people do all sorts of things and the pounds just stick around.

I never said that I don't have a problem with my weight or that people that take these pills are lazy or the like. I am mearly saying that if your way to lose weight is to sit on the can all day then go for it, while your at it why not just throw up everything you eat, it's quicker and you only have to do it once.

I look at it more like. People will put up with a side effect like losing control of their bowels. If it means they don't have to do any exercise or stick with a strict meal plan. Losing weight is hard and takes alot of will power and dedication. Any sort of "diet pill" is just a temporary fix and doesn't really cure the problem of past habits and routines. Some people are more prone to gaining weight or have a more difficult time losing weight, thats true. It just means you have to work that much harder. It sucks in some cases. But that is the reality.
My question about this diet pill. Does it really work. Or does the fear of pooping your pants keep you from eating fat while you are taking the pill? Is that what really causes people to lose the weight?

Does anyone remember the story about the guy who shat and threw up at the same time in a -restaurant bathroom that was posted on here a while ago? Imagine if he had gone to the same buffet after taking those pills?
Oh, the mess.....
On another note, its good that this might help some people, but if they are fairly obese to begin with, then they are likely consuming alot of fat everyday at which point starting on this pill sounds like it will suck. THAT would take some will power.

And when you're done, you'll gain that weight back in a few months.
The only was to lose weight is to change your eating habits...and to start exercising.
Its the lifestyle that is important, not some pill.

I worked with a guy who was 300lbs and was on those prescription weight loss pills. It was frickin disgusting. He's eat fast food all day long, sprint to the bathroom and DESTROY it, and stain the bowl with some sick yellow coloured stool.....about 5 times a day.
He got down to 200lbs, joined lavalife, got a girlfriend, and then exploded back up to 300+.

Exactly.
These pills are really a short-term fix to a long term problem.
Like I said, it takes better eating habits....and an active lifestyle to lose weight and actually keep it off.
Plus, you'll be more healthy that way too.

Been there, done that with Xenical - the prescription drug. Not the smartest move, but my doc suggested it. It was nasty to say the least. The one thing - it did get me eating much much much more in veggies and lean meat because fatty stuff was not pretty.
So if you want to lose weight by pure and utter fear of sh***ing your pants - that's the way to go. Otherwise, I'd go with the sensible eating route.

I think this may be the most ######ed diet pill ever.
Our pill will help you loose weight, but to avoid HORRIFIC side effects you should reduce your fat intake to 15 grams per day.
Is that so....if I reduce my fat intake to 15 grams per day I'll loose weight?
This must be the best diet pill EVER!!!!!

Exactly, the pills purpose is to punish you if you exceed the 15 grams of fat per day. Pretty harsh punishment if you ask me.

Why not just strap an electric collar to a fat guy and call it a diet pill?
