RF ID tags... Correcting myself from a previous thread...
Well, about 3-4 months ago, there was a thread about RF ID tags being used in dogs, and the future of it in humans, and I said that it would never fly. Well I was flipping through the magazine the other day, and saw that it has been implamented and is used by a few. It was surgically inserted into a guy's hand, and was used for keys and medical records and stuff. Just for anyone thats interested.
I also saw in the same magazine about Quantum Keys being implaments. Pretty cool stuff. Basically, from QM101, if you try measuring the signal to try and "hack it" then the signal will change its form, and the reciever would know they're being hacked. Only a certain filter (or "key") will unlock the given lock, and any attempts to try and measure it (or "hack") will destroy the signal - in otherwords, hackproof communication.
Just FYI for you nerds out there
