Default Internet Filtering Software?

Just wondering if anyone knows of a good software to filter adult and other inappropriate content from being accessed. I'm thinking something along the lines of Web Sense, but without blocking communities like myspace and facebook. Something thats user friendly, and easily cuistomizable.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I worked at a place a few years ago that used FilterGate. It worked well at the time. Since I moved on though I haven't had the need to use any kind of filtering software so I don't know what is good anymore.

We use Websense here at work, and it doesn't block Facebook. The thing is it can be customized. For example Facebook falls into the category of "social networking." Our IT department has determined that that group shouldn't be blocked.

We also use Websense here. It is the bane of our existence. It is however, fully configurable as to content blocked. If CP gets blocked I'm doomed.
