I think it is wrong the may most pitchers are coddled. There are many pitchers who can (and perhaps should) pitch on 3 days rest regularly, or pitch 120+ pitches most nights.
Sure, with so many teams I doubt any team has enough starters to do it regularly, but there must be a solid number of pitchers who could do it, but it just isn't accepted practice in N.A.
