On an otherwise slow TV night, I happened to catch the newest reality TV show called "The Rebel Billionaire". At first thought, I figured it was a ridiculous Fox idea that had some lame plot twist involving a fake billionaire, and a bunch of eye candy running around in an attempt to grab ratings from all the other lame ass reality shows that seem to be flooding my TV. I was, however, quite surprised by this one.
The premis behind it is an actual billionaire named Sir Richard Bronson who, if you aren't familiar with him, happens to own the Virgin group of companies. (His profile is
HERE. ) He's looking for the next president of his company, who will be selected from the group of contestants on the show.
The hilarious part of this show is the things he is doing to these people to test their mettle. Challenge one was walking a beam suspended between 2 hot air balloons 10 000 feet in the air. The losing team leader then had to choose 2 contestants for challenge 2.
Challenge 2 was climbing on to the top wing of a biplane (no safety harness or parachute) and then strapping yourself into a harness, going inverted and passing a baton to another team member on another plane. The whole while Branson was watching from a 3rd plane, strapped into a chair on its top wing.
Apparently in the next episode contestants get tossed off Victoria Falls in a barrel

. This show really seems to be pushing the envelope, and apparently someone goes to the hospital next week.
Show me the carnage!!!!!
