On an otherwise slow TV night, I happened to catch the newest reality TV show called "The Rebel Billionaire". At first thought, I figured it was a ridiculous Fox idea that had some lame plot twist involving a fake billionaire, and a bunch of eye candy running around in an attempt to grab ratings from all the other lame ass reality shows that seem to be flooding my TV. I was, however, quite surprised by this one.

The premis behind it is an actual billionaire named Sir Richard Bronson who, if you aren't familiar with him, happens to own the Virgin group of companies. (His profile is HERE. ) He's looking for the next president of his company, who will be selected from the group of contestants on the show.

The hilarious part of this show is the things he is doing to these people to test their mettle. Challenge one was walking a beam suspended between 2 hot air balloons 10 000 feet in the air. The losing team leader then had to choose 2 contestants for challenge 2.

Challenge 2 was climbing on to the top wing of a biplane (no safety harness or parachute) and then strapping yourself into a harness, going inverted and passing a baton to another team member on another plane. The whole while Branson was watching from a 3rd plane, strapped into a chair on its top wing.

Apparently in the next episode contestants get tossed off Victoria Falls in a barrel . This show really seems to be pushing the envelope, and apparently someone goes to the hospital next week.

Show me the carnage!!!!!

It's an interesting show, but his method of choosing the winner is odd. It seems like he's finding a person that can replace his lifestyle, not the best person for the Virgin company. It's definetely a fox show.

I didn't watch it last night, but I did catch My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss on Sunday night. That show was hilarious.

They were split in two groups, male and female. Their first task was called Corporate Sabotage. They were to name the other group. They came up with Femron and Concad.

The fake billionaire would feed them expensive h'or douvres and vintage wine. They were all amazed at how expensive it tasted, but in fact the wine was like $20 a bottle and the h'or douvres was just spam and cheese mixed together. He kept hitting on the females as well and asked them if they had a boyfriend or if they were married

Their challenge was to be bums and beg for money. The guys lost so they had to spend the night in a dump and the girls got to sleep on a bed with $10,000 each in them. They thought they got to keep the $10,000 but they weren't. They all ended up sleeping on the floor because the matress was so lumpy.

In the boardroom, the fake billionaire would tell one guy he is too short and he should overcome his "shortcomings". He ended up firing the other guy since he had a suit that was more expensive then his.

If anyone wants a good laugh, then definately check out this show next Sunday on FOX

But when a company reaches the size and structure of Virgin, doesn't it really run itself? It would seem like the most important part of being president would be meeting people, hyping the company, and serving as a figurehead, much as Bronson does now.

I wonder if that will be the end of "reality" TV. As the shows try to one up one another, will someone end up killed and it costs the network their license (and rightly so).

I watched this part and it was fairly unbelievable there was no safety harness and both these women could have been killed.

Now that's a reality show.

But Branson did it himself too.

He was set to pick between two people to kick them off the show when a third piped up she didn't feel like risking her life and asked to be removed.

The best part was when the women said "The Apprentice would never give out a prize like this." Hilarious.

I thought it was cool that he was the taxi driver and cut two people immediatley. It would have been better if he cut that one fat dude who was really cocky.

I don't know if you noticed this but you are short.
